Krug Grande Cuvée - 170th Edition 2014
The 2014 vintage was not ideal in Champagne either. The House of Krug consequently drew on its huge library of reserve wines and reduced the proportion of wines from 2014 to 55%. In addition, great vintages up to 1998 were used. The great 2013 vintage makes up a large proportion of the blend, giving Edition 170 freshness and density. Since the Pinot Meunier from 2014 was very fruity, which does not correspond to the style of the house, this grape was reduced to a very low 11% in the blend.
